The fishing in April has been as great as the weather with
the start of the month seeing some great conger fishing
with the added bonus of
big rays, the biggest of which was a 19lb undulate caught
by Graham Maton from Totton. Straight after that the bream
arrived, not many big ones
but a good average size of around the 2lb mark and most days we
had well over 100 . We also managed a bit of Pollacking
offshore which wasn't great but we did
manage to find a few, they were on the small side,
the biggest surprise of the month was when a blond ray
trip turned into a tope trip
with lots of tope in the 15lb bracket turning up.
Sorry
there aren't many photos but I didn't put the memory card in
the camera properly .
