August has been a strange month with not particularly good weather and so has the fishing with some quite bad days but some really good days as well with plenty of small turbot, brill and tope, good blondes, small eyes and undulates, bass were a bit scarce but we did have some nice ones up to 12lb8oz.

We did some shore line fishing which unfortunately didn't,produce as well as expected but there were lots of small fish several types of wrasse and gurnards, bream and red mullet. We aso did a sole trip which produced one sole of 1lb 5oz. If the last day of the month is anything to go buy September should be a lot better as we had plenty of mackerel lots of dogs, 18 rays and 5 bass all in shore on light tackle.
