Well it's just like January as this February becomes
the best one on record with mild weather (except for
the day when we had to break the ice in the harbour on
the way out.)
With reasonable sea conditions the fishing has been
great, the inshore marks producing whiting dabs
and the odd cod and offshore has been particularly
good for cod, congers,
blond rays and spurdogs. For those prepared for
the 2.5hr journey beyond mid channel the the
pollack fishing was brilliant with plenty of good
sized fish and also big congers
and an odd bonus ling.
The boat has now been out of the water for her
annual polish, survey and check up and is
ready for the new season which is set to get
off to a flying start.
