January 2011 has been a great start to the year with some great fishing just as good as November and December with lots of good whiting, cod averaging 16lb and some dabs well worth targeting in my view. On the smaller tides good sport with plenty of congers .This year the boat probably will not be coming out so I will be doing trips right though, but only going if we can get offshore on the small tides to target conger spurs and blondes as there probably will not be much inshore until mid March so give me ring if your interested .
