Start of the season April / May 2009
April was slow to start of with very few fish inshore but some nice spurs and blond rays offshore. By the end of the month there were plenty of good bream around and by the first week in May we were averaging over 100 fish a day with the best day 300 fish including 10 over 3lb. By the middle of May cod were showing in mid-channel in good numbers and towards the end of May our first bass trip produced 28 fish, however they were on the small side averaging 3-4lb . Lets hope the weather is good for June.
